Asteride Partners with Sikkim Riders Meet 2026 as Community & Technology Partner

Asteride × Sikkim Riders Meet 2026

Some rides end at a destination. The ride to Sikkim Riders Meet ends in a valley most riders have never been allowed into.

We’re proud to announce that Asteride is the official Community & Technology Partner of Sikkim Riders Meet 2026 (SRM), organised by the Dirty Angels Motorcycle Club. This year the meet heads to the Dzongu valley in North Sikkim from 16 to 18 November 2026.

Why Dzongu matters

Dzongu is a protected area set aside for the Lepcha community, high above the Teesta river with Kanchenjunga watching over it. The 2023 glacial lake flood hit North Sikkim hard and damaged roads and bridges across the region. SRM 2026 brings riders to Namprikdang to support local livelihoods through responsible tourism.

For riders, that means two things. You get to see one of India’s most beautiful valleys. And you get to leave something behind for the people who call it home.

What Asteride brings to SRM
  • National rider outreach - SRM reaches Asteride’s community of 25,000+ riders and 2,000+ riding groups across India.

  • Group ride mobilisation - we’re working directly with riding group admins to bring organised convoys to Sikkim.

  • In-app promotion - SRM is listed on the Asteride app with push notifications and home-feed features.

  • Live group tracking - groups riding to SRM through Asteride get PackTrack live tracking free, so nobody in the pack gets left behind on the mountain roads.

  • Pre-event meetups - online sessions with riders and group admins ahead of the meet.

Planning the ride

Dzongu needs a permit, and the final stretch climbs the Teesta valley through Mangan. We’ve put everything in one guide: [Riding into Dzongu: what to know before you go](https://www.asteride.co/blogs/riding-into-dzongu-what-to-know-before-you-go).

Riding from Delhi? Asteride’s flagship ride, Eastbound, rolls out from Delhi on 14 November and arrives at SRM together. Read about Eastbound.
